  • Manage and mentor a diverse and highly motivated team of engineers
  • Build the team road map and ensure its successful and efficient implementation
  • Contribute to defining goals and priorities within IT Operations and Engineering teams
  • Learn and support Data4Life’s core services, analyze and explore ways to efficiently maintain those
  • Propose improvements to the existing infrastructure, tools and processes
  • Work together with the engineering department to contribute to infrastructure and projects
  • Support us by advocating stability and security, raise awareness for weak spots
  • Drive continuous improvements and automation in various areas, such as infrastructure deployment and provisioning, hardening, monitoring, alerting and logging
  • Be part of a helpful and knowledgeable Site Reliability Engineering team


  • You have experience leading a team directly and enjoy taking on this responsibility
  • You have significant experience as Site Reliability Engineer, ideally operating a complex microservices architecture, based on Kubernetes and Docker
  • You have exceptional communication skills
  • You gained practical experience with on-premises OpenStack and/or, at least, a cloud provider like AWS
  • You are comfortable working remotely with colleagues, teams and external stakeholders
  • You are able to organize your own working day, even in stressful times
  • You feel comfortable doing on-call duty shifts
  • You are fluent in English,both written and spoken
