Summary & Role Information

The Technical Advisor for SAP.iO Foundries will help startups participating in SAP.iO Foundry programs integrate with SAP’s solution portfolio using SAP BTP services. This includes working on integration use cases and identifying the right solutions to integrate with. Further tasks will be:

  • Supporting the SAP.iO Foundry Heads with the evaluation of startup applications for programs on a technical level.
  • Defining the integration use cases and integration roadmaps with the startups and potentially needed resources, for startups participating in SAP.iO Foundry programs.
  • Technical resources either from SAP BUs and/or local technical fellows will support the Technical Advisor in completing the integrations.
  • Preparing SAP.iO Foundry startups for SAP Store inclusion.
  • Working with organizations across SAP to secure resources like demo environments, tenants, and expertise required for the SAP.iO startups to design and build their integrations.

Role Requirements

  • At least 3 years of work experience in product development
  • Proven knowledge in SAP product architecture
  • Experience in working with SAP BTP, development tools, Integration suite, and Extension suite services
  • Experience is working on integrating third-party software (partner applications, Open Source projects, etc.)
  • Strong Java capabilities, ABAP is an advantage
