Department Description :

The German Personal Investing (PI) & Advisory Operations department is part of Global PI and Advisory Operations (GPIA Operations). Operations in Germany supports profitable business growth by continuously improving operational processes and the overarching operating model. The German department aims to deliver an outstanding customer experience and works together collaboratively with Technology, Client Services and Sales (in a cross-functional approach). As PI & Advisory Operations in Germany is embedded into the global Operations unit of the group, the German team is able to access to additional resources and knowledge to continuously improve operational processes, following a digital first approach.

 

Purpose of the Role :

Personal Investing & Advisory Operations – Transfers Team:

PI & Advisory Operations in Germany consists of different teams and is organized into key-functions, as Post and Document Management, Client-Management and Data Governance, Dealing, Ordering, Reconciliations and Distributions, customer regulatory reporting and tax, as well as Transfers. Transfers is one of the core capabilities of PI & Advisory Operations supporting profitable business growth and providing an outstanding client experience. In total Germany serves more than 650k clients and is growing organically. The Transfers team receives different instructions from third parties, as well as from our own clients, regarding transfers (internal transfers, transfers in and transfers out). Given our operating principles we are strengthening our efforts for straight through processing and given the transformation roadmap, Transfers is continuously working on automation and the improvement of client journeys and the respective process cycle times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and run the business operations in the Transfers Team and support the Team Lead with regard to change the business initiatives
  • Functional lead of Transfers-In and Transfers-Out, in close collaboration with the Team Lead
  • Manage capacity on a regular basis and improve Management Information, as well as reporting
    Support the Team on run the business operations and analyzing Not-In-Good-Order work items
  • Documentation of processes, regular updates of work instructions and improvement of controls

About you:

  • Leadership experience and experience in transformation
  • Experience in Transfer processes
  • High levels of motivation and experience managing multiple stakeholders
  • Very strong communication skills
  • Client-centricity, as well as a high level of quality insurance
  • Advanced level of German
  • Fluent spoken and written English
