As the Marketing Controlling and Steering team, we are responsible for the yearly and monthly planning processes from a marketing perspective and support the marketing teams in managing and optimizing their performance by tracking, monitoring, reporting and analyzing key marketing indicators. In doing so, we work hand-in-hand with the Marketing Growth and Market Research & Consumer Insights teams. Together we form the Revenue & Growth department, which reports directly to the CEOs and jointly drives the company’s success.

As Medior Marketing Controller (m/f/d) you will actively participate in the development of marketing planning by cooperating with cross-functional teams and independently create analyses and reports to optimize our marketing success. You take full responsibility for your projects and are supported by your team members and the entire Revenue & Growth department.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in monthly and annual marketing planning, forecasting and closing processes
  • Further development of internal marketing controlling & steering processes
  • Conducting efficiency and cost analyses for marketing measures and deriving corresponding recommendations for action using external and internal data sources
  • Participation in the simulation of future company developments and creation of strategy cases in close cooperation with the Marketing Growth Team
  • Continuous development & automation of standard reports for management and marketing channels
  • Execution of ad-hoc analyses as well as collaboration on project and special analyses
  • Interface management between the Finance, Online Marketing & Marketing Intelligence departments

Requirements

  • Above-average degree in an analytical field of study, e.g. business sciences
  • At least 2 years of relevant work experience in marketing controlling or related areas, preferably in an e-commerce environment
  • Very good and confident handling of MS Office, especially Excel
  • First knowledge of SQL, Google Big Query and Google Data Studio
  • Strong analytical skills and a strong understanding of numbers
  • Ability to grasp processes and analyses easily and communicate clearly
  • Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working
